RECO REGE 16 OCT 14
Detective Department,
Central Police Chambers,
Aberdeen.
3rd Octocer, 1914.
The Under Secretary for Scotland,
Scottish Office, Whitehall,
Sir,
LONDON.
S.V.
I beg to send you a communication, dated 28th September
ult., which I received a few days ago, from Pickfords Ltd.,
London, with reference to the forwarding of prohibited drugs
to Hong Kong. I have had the Er. J. G. Milne referred to in
the communication interviewed, and a statement made by him
is also sent herewith.
The matter appears to be one which cannot be dealt with
here, and I am to ask your instructions in the matter. Perhaps it should be reported to the Customs at London, or
to the Crown Agents for the Colonies.
Meantime I have replied to Pickfords Ltd., that the
matter is receiving attention.

I am,
Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
(Signed) W. ANDERSON.
Chief Constable.
